- I grew up in a very artistic family. Art was a way of life. I always knew that I would be an artist in some facet, but I hadn't found my real passion until my highschool photography class. Armed with my dad's '76 pentax, I began to see my world in a whole new way. There really is something magical about looking through the view finder of a camera. I developed a love of portrait photography almost immediately as well as fashion photography. It only made sense to combine the two! I believe that a portrait can be a beautiful moment captured as well as a work of art.
